Health strawberry smoothie

Strawberries are an excellent and a popular smoothie fruit. Strawberry smoothies are especially ideal for weighloss purposes as they are quick and easy to prepare and the  natural sweetness and juiciness of strawberries means one can make a tasty strawberry smoothie without adding high fat ingredients such as ice cream. They're also high in antioxidants and vitamins and can fill you up while also cutting back on the calories. Strawberry smoothies are hence the perfect add-on to any weight-loss regime.

Simple strawberry smoothie recipe

• 6 – 10 fresh strawberries
• Small natural fat-free yoghurt
• 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Directions:
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth

*If the smoothie isn’t sweet enough, you can add more honey and blend for few more seconds.
*Where fresh strawberries are not available, frozen strawberries can be used as replacement
*If preferred, additional fruits such as a banana or a mango can be added into the smoothie
